According to reports Mel has now got a restraining order against her soon-to-be ex husband after the disturbing claims came to light.

And to top it all off there are also allegations that the film producer slept with their children’s nanny, while paying her £241K for her nanny duties, and got her pregnant.

Mel, also known as Scary Spice, allegedly recalled the events through legal documents obtained by TMZ.

The former couple split in December before filing for divorce in January this year.

In the legal documents it is alleged that Stephen, 41, “placed both of his hands around her neck, began choking her and slammed her down onto the hardwood floors” at the start of their marriage in 2007.

In another claim Mel accused Stephen of “punching her with a closed fist in the face and splitting her lip”.

The former X Factor judge claimed she tried to leave him many times but he “threatened me with violence and threatened to destroy my life in every possible way…destroy my career and take my kids from me”.

This comes after it was reported that Mel and Stephen attempted to spice up their love life by engaging in threesomes.

But now Mel has allegedly accused Stephen of forcing her to “participate in sexual intercourse with him and random women”.

Stephen strongly denies the allegations. He spoke to TMZ about them, revealing:

“I haven’t heard these allegations. You know what my comment on this is, as this is the mother of my children?

“I’m really really distraught in my brain how this is going to affect our children.

“I think someone’s set me up to look like a bad guy.

“It’s accusation after accusation. But we’ll have our day in court.”
