The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have apologised to their social media followers after an embarrassing blunder on Instagram.
Earlier this week, the pair uploaded an inspirational quote by Maya Angelou to the social network.
It read: “Each time a women stands up for herself without knowing it possible, without claiming it, she stands up for all women.”
However, their eagle-eyed followers swiftly spotted the couple’s mistake.
One said: “With your education I’d expect you to know when to use the word woman or women.”

Another called the mistake very “unroyal”.
After deleting the post, the royals edited the quote and re-uploaded it.
“We post inspiring words like these so you can enjoy them, remember them, and share them – all the more reason to ensure they’re accurate. We are reposting because of a typo in the previous quote card,” the post was captioned.

It added: “Apologies for the hiccup, and many thanks to those of you who flagged it for us! We do hope you’ll keep and share these powerful words from Maya Angelou – The Sussex Digital Team.”
Fans were quick to praise Meghan and Harry for admitting their mistake.
One follower said: “Love this! And the fact you guys are willing to say you messed up and fix it instead of deleting and pretending like nothing happened!”
“As if I couldn’t love you guys more,” another said.
“Well handled,” a third follower said.
Another told the couple: “Whether it said woman or women, the words are still powerful and to err is human.”
Harry and Meghan were last seen at the WellChild Awards, with the duke reassuring his wife that she looked “amazing” before they left home.
