Her veil and jewellery will also go on display

The Duchess of Sussex’s wedding dress will go on public display as part of a new exhibition on the Royal Wedding.

Meghan’s stunning gown, veil, shoes and jewellery will be available to view at Windsor Castle and Holyroodhouse as part of an exhibition called ‘A Royal Wedding: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’.

The main attraction for many, however, will be Meghan’s stunning wedding gown, designed by Clare Waight Keller of Givenchy.

Meghan wore the beautiful white gown with an incredible, five-metre long silk tulle veil that represented each of the 53 countries of the Commonwealth.

A flower from each country was hand-embroidered on the veil in silk thread and organza, with workers having to wash their hands every 30 minutes to retain the pristine white colour.

Meghan also asked for two of her favourite flowers to be included on the veil – a California poppy to represent her US home state, and a Wintersweet, which is grown in the grounds of her home at Kensington Palace.

The jewellery worn by Meghan on the wedding day will also be displayed, including the ornate Queen Mary diamond bandeau tiara, which was loaned to the bride by The Queen.

Meanwhile, a replica of Harry’s frockcoat will also be displayed; he chose to marry in his Blues and Royals colours.

The exhibition has been organised by The Royal Collection Trust and will run at Windsor Castle from October 26 to January 9, 2019 and The Palace of Holyroodhouse from June 13 to October 6, 2019.

Full information on tickets and visiting is available here.

The Royal Wedding took place at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19, with a string of celebrity guests in attendance including the Beckhams, the Clooneys, Tom Hardy and Meghan’s former Suits TV show castmates.

The couple will then travel to Sydney later in the year for the Invictus Games, taking in other countries including New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga on their travels.

There has also been speculation that could fit in a trip to Meghan’s native United States at some stage, although that has not been confirmed by Kensington Palace.
