Megan Barton Hanson has revealed she was taken to hospital with a kidney infection.
The Love Island star shared a photo to Instagram on Monday showing a medical band around her wrist as she told her fans she’s “never been so ill in my life”.
Megan, who is the girlfriend of Dancing On Ice star Wes Nelson, was admitted to hospital after her bladder infection became worse and she was forced to miss Wes’s performance on Sunday night’s show.

She wrote: “Glad to be home after a nightmare few days.
“Don’t ignore a bladder infection it WILL spread to your kidneys never been so ill in my life.”
She also revealed her parents had sent her a bunch of flowers and a letter.
Megan wrote: “My parents are the best nothing worse than being away from your family when you’re poorly. Thank you.”
It comes after Dancing On Ice viewers spotted that Megan wasn’t in the audience to support Wes during Sunday night’s show.
Wes, who is partnered with professional ice skater Vanessa Bauer on the show, explained that Megan has been unwell and couldn’t make it along.
The 20-year-old, who began dating Megan on Love Island last summer, wrote on Instagram Stories at the weekend: “Shattered now. Can’t wait to get back to @meghanbartonhanson.
“She’s been so unwell today, make sure you send her a kind message.”
Megan, 24, also posted about her illness over the weekend, explaining that she has been suffering with a painful infection.
She wrote on Instagram Stories: “Any pain relief tips for a kidney/bladder infection… it’s finally date night and I’m going even if I’m curled into the shape of a pretzel.”
Meanwhile, last week, Megan hit out at Vanessa in an Instagram post and accused the professional skater of timing her break-up with Louis Nathaniel for publicity and not looking her “in the eye” when they met.
However, Megan later explained on Loose Women that she sent Vanessa a message in private to clear things up.

She admitted that she does feel “jealous” about Wes and Vanessa spending so much time together, but insisted that just makes her human.
A spokesperson for Vanessa sent in a statement to the show, which said: “Contrary to suggestions, Vanessa did not ‘announce’ her split. She’s never discussed her private life and as always wants to stay focused on her professional commitments.”
