McFly singer Danny Jones has announced the birth of his newborn baby boy to the world.
The star took to Instagram today and posted a super cute pic of the little lad’s tiny foot, complete with hospital tag.
Danny had announced he was expecting his first child with wife Georgia Horsley back in July last year.
And the 31-year-old today revealed the name of his son while announcing his arrival.
In the Insta post he wrote: “So overwhelmed with love, welcome to earth Cooper Alf Jones, born today 1:36am.”
And he even sparked his own hashtag #babyjones.
Fans took to social media to congratulate the couple on their new arrival.
“Congrats!! Love the name Cooper :’) … cant wait to see his face! All the best!” wrote one.
Another added: “Congratulations Georgia and Danny. Cooper is so lucky to you two as his parents xxx”
And a third wrote: “Welcome to the world cooper!!!!!”
Danny can expect plenty of advice in raising his son as he’s the third member of McFly to become a dad.
Fellow band member Tom Fletcher is a dad-of-two with wife Giovanna “Gi” Falcone – who wrote a book last year on motherhood called Happy Mum, Happy Baby.
Tom has also co-written a series of children’s books with band-mate Dougie Poynter.
And fellow McFly star Harry Judd has son and a daughter with wife Brittany “Izzy” Johnston.
Danny should be well prepared should his son follow in his singing footsteps, having been a coach on The Voice Kids last year.
