Mark Wright gives sneak peek of his new dating show

The Bachelor UK will soon be hitting our screens

Mark Wright has excited fans by sharing a snippet of new dating show, The Bachelor UK.

The former TOWIE star will be hosting the new series, which will see a group of women compete to win over ‘the bachelor’.

Mark shared a snap from the set of the show, which will air on Channel 5 in March, where he was suited and booted in a tux.

He wrote on Instagram: “It’s a tough job but someone had to do it. Here they are !! The girls of 2019 @thebacheloruk !! .”

He added: “This lot are going to entertain you believe me. All searching for love, all FIGHTING for love. They gave us tears, laughter, fights, drama, romance and love. They gave it all. I can’t wait for you to watch this brand new series on ch5 Launching on March 4th at 10pm !!”

One fan commented: “Can’t wait to watch,” while another added: “Buzzing”.

The Bachelor has been a hit series in both the US and Australia, so Mark has high hopes for the UK version he’ll be fronting.

It’s the first UK presenting gig the 32-year-old has had since he got a job co-hosting US gossip show Extra!

He has been running around LA interviewing Hollywood stars since 2017.

But Mark revealed this month that he had quit Extra! to come back to the UK. He was desperate to have more time with his wife Michelle Keegan and his family.

He told The Sun: “It just feels like the right time to come back to the UK and live here with my wife and family.

“I’ll always be grateful to the show Extra for the amazing opportunity they gave me.”

His commitments in Los Angeles meant he spent large amounts of time away from Michelle, 31, who also had long stints abroad to film BBC series Our Girl.

But now Mark has a UK-based project, it looks like the couple will be able to spend more time together.

The Essex presenter has decided to play matchmaker outside of work, too!

Mark’s pal Olly Murs commented on the line-up of ladies in his Instagram post, with this string of emojis: “🧐🧐🧐🧐😝🔥.”

So, fancying himself the new cupid, Mark joked to the singer: “@ollymurs who ya liking pal ? Haha I will tell you who’s still single x.”
