It has now been reported that James Packer was ‘jealous’ of Mariah Carey’s back-up dancer and choreographer Bryan Tanaka.
TMZ have claimed that ‘sources connected with Mariah’ have revealed great tension between the Australian billionaire and Tanake that led to a huge argument last June.
The pair of them were reportedly involved in a spat and ‘Packer used his casino ties to get Tanaka banned from Caesar’s Palace’, where Mariah as a residency.
What a mess!
The couple have supposedly not seen each other in well over a month and had a fight while on a ‘romantic’ European holiday.
TMZ reported Packer allegedly did ‘something really bad’ that involved Carey’s assistant and there are other allegations about his behaviour.
“Mariah and James had a fight in Greece, and have not seen each other since. The fight was not because of any cheating allegations or excessive spending by Mariah,” her spokesperson told ET.
“Right now, they’re not sure if they will stay together. They are discussing it, and plan to release an official statement together about their future,” they added.
A source also told UsWeekly Carey felt her fiance wasn’t ‘present’ enough for her.
“James has not been present for her so she unfortunately couldn’t make it work and had to leave him,” an insider said.
The Australian publication Woman’s Day reported that the 48-year-old has split from Mariah over her “extravagant spending” and also claimed that the couple fought over her highly-anticipated new reality show Mariah’s World.

James has made sure she’s kept happy though. The magazine also claims that she’s allowed to keep her 35 carat engagement ring, that is supposedly worth a whopping $10million.

A source close to the family told the magazine: “It’s all over.”
“James had huge reservations about Mariah’s new reality TV show and the fact that she was willing to expose their lives to the world.”
Just two days ago, the popstar posted a photo of her ex and their two children to her Instagram page. Was this a telling sign?

James and Mariah became engaged in January following a whirlwind romance.
The crazy rich couple sent the rumour mill into overdrive last year when they were papped holding hands in Capri.
The unlikely couple enjoyed lots of holidays together and spent Christmas together in Aspen with her children.
Shortly after, he got down on one knee and popped the question in New York in January.
They’ve both had quite unlucky love lives in the past.
The businessman has been married twice before, first to Jodhi Meares from 1999 to 2007 and then to Erica Packer from 2007 to 2013.
He has three children, Indigo, eight, Jackson, six and Emmanuelle, four, from his second marriage.
Mariah has also been wed before too. The Fantasy singer was married to Tommy Mattola from 1993 to 1998 and Nick Cannon from 2008 to 2015. Mariah and Nick share twins Moroccan and Monroe, five.
All of these reports of their split come just after the singer cancelled part of her South American tour, for reasons she described as promoter negligence.
Mariah posted a tweet: “Devastated my shows in Chile, Argentina & Brazil had to be cancelled. My fans deserve better than how some of these promoters treated them.”
She added: “I love my lambs in South America and will do everything I can to come in 2017 the proper way. Thank you for understanding. LYM, Te Amo MC.”
