Madonna shares rare photo with all six children in Malawi

She celebrated the one-year anniversary of her Malawi hospital

Madonna has shared a beautiful family picture alongside all six of her children.

The iconic popstar posted the group shot to Instagram while the family celebrated the one-year anniversary of the Mercy James Pediatric Hospital, named in honour of her daughter, in Malawi.

Madonna, 59, is seen beaming as she stands alongside children Lourdes, 21, Rocco, 17, David, 12, Mercy, also 12, and twins Estere and Stelle, five.

It was named in honour of daughter Mercy, whom she adopted from Malawi in 2009. She also adopted son David from the African country in 2008 and twins Estere and Stelle in 2017.

She shares eldest child Lourdes with Carlos Leon, while son Rocco’s father is Madonna’s ex-husband, film director Guy Ritchie.

Fans were quick to compliment Madonna on the snap, with one saying: “Beautiful family photo you’re a lucky lady.”

Another wrote, “Beautiful family! You are so blessed!” while a third said: “So glad all of your kids were with you. Lovely photo.”

A fourth told her: “Great artist, great mom and great human being.”

It was built by the Raising Malawi, founded by Madonna to support orphans and vulnerable children in the country through health, education and community support.

She told People magazine last year: “I love when my kids are in Africa. Their selfless behavior, compared to the normal complaining in the privileged world we live in, is great to see.”

The star added: “I’m here to save lives. I don’t want to be the outsider that comes in. I want to help them help themselves.”
