Binky ended her relationship with India’s father, Josh Patterson last month, with the pair releasing a joint statement on Instagram.

They claimed that their lives were moving in different directions, but confirmed that they were still committed to being a strong family for India.

“We are still a family and India is, and always will be, the absolute light of our lives, however we have realised we are on very different paths at the moment although we still adore each other, we need to give each other the space to grow,” the statement read.

Josh spoke out about the split during an appearance on Jeremy Vine, saying it had been a difficult decision to make.

“We have made this decision and it was a tough one, but sometimes the toughest decisions have to be made and the most important thing is our family remains united and happy,” he said.

He went on to say that while the split hadn’t made the couple happy, it was the right move to make for a positive future.

“I wouldn’t say we were happier for it, but the situation will improve,” he said. “We have such a wonderful relationship together and communication is key I think.”
