Corrie’s Lucy Fallon reveals she wants to “get married and have babies” with her boyfriend Tom Leech

The couple have been together for 18 months

Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has revealed she would love to “get married and have babies” with boyfriend Tom Leech.

Tom, 26, revealed that the actress “keeps sending me pictures of rings she likes”.

The couple have been together for 18 months and moved in together earlier this year.

In an interview with OK! magazine the loved-up couple spoke about their future plans and marriage definitely seems to be on the cards.

Lucy, 21, said: [I’ve] definitely [met the one].

“I know we’ll get married and have babies together.”

Tom added: “She keeps sending me pictures of rings she likes.”

“I keep seeing different ones I like, so it will be Tom’s decision,” Lucy continued.

“Marriage is definitely where we’re heading so I store images away for when I need them,” said Tom.

But the couple have said they are in no rush to tie the knot.

Lucy explained: “That’s not going to happen for a long time.

“I’m only 21 and I’d like to get married when I’m 25 or 26.”

Speaking about the location where she would love the wedding ceremony to be Lucy revealed: “Somewhere hot and tropical and luxurious, by the beach. Maybe Bora Bora.”

The actress is currently playing Bethany Platt in the ITV soap and is involved in one of the show’s most gripping and harrowing storylines.

Over the last few months viewers have watched in horror as Nathan Curtis groomed Bethany and manipulated her into thinking he was in love with her and wanted to marry her.

All the time he was actually grooming her to be part of his sex ring and planned to sell her off to his friends.

The star recently spoke about how hard it was to film some of the awful scenes.

She said: “There have been scenes where I have genuinely cried because they’ve been so hard to do.

“Obviously the rape scene with Neil was the hardest and the one with all of the men in the flat because imagining that actually happening to someone is just horrible.”

Tom also revealed that he finds it difficult to watch some of the scenes.

He told OK! magazine: “Before the British Soap Awards I caught up on some episodes and happened to see the gang rape scene.

“I had to look at the TV from behind my hands and was wincing the whole way through.

“Even though I know it’s not real, it’s horrible to watch Lucy in that situation.”

Lucy recently revealed that she almost turned the storyline down.

“[Corrie boss] Kate Oates texted me last September and said she wanted me to come in for a chat. I was phoning my mum like: ‘What if she’s telling me she’s killing me off?’” she told The Sun’s Fabulous magazine.

“I was quite scared because I’ve only been on the show for two years, and even though I’ve had a lot of big storylines, this is the biggest and most controversial.

“Once Kate spoke to me and we’d done quite a bit of research, I realised how important it was. Then I was excited – if that makes sense – to do the story justice for real people who have been affected by it,” she added.
