We all shed a little tear when this year’s Love Island winning couple Kem and Amber split earlier this month – but this week it was suggested Amber’s broken heart may have mended more quickly than ours…
Snaps of Amber and TOWIE star Pete Wicks enjoying a night out together in Essex spread on Instagram, sparking speculation that the pair may just have eyes for each other.
The reality telly pair ran into each other when out with friends dining at trendy Essex restaurant Sheesh.

But even though the pair were both glammed up to the eyeballs and clearly out for a laugh, Amber has taken to Twitter to slam dunk the idea that there’s anything going on.
In what appeared to be a rant at people speculating about her and Pete, Amber tweeted: “Waiting for the day you can chat to the opposite sex without it being a new current love interest.”
(You might be waiting a while there, Amber.)
Pete – who is also newly single having split with on again-off again girlfriend Megan McKenna – seemed a bit more chill about the whole thing and just tweeted his big love for the eatery.
Love Island winners Amber and Kem split suddenly this month, blaming their hectic work schedules for driving them apart.
In an official statement Kem, 21, and Amber, 20, confirmed: “With sadness, we’ve decided to separate. Our schedules made it difficult. We’ll remain good friends.”
However a source told The Sun it was down to non-stop arguments. “They’ve been at each other’s necks for the past month. They’ve clashed over the smallest things.”
The source added: “They tried to make it work but realised they want different things.”
But despite their claim to remain good friends, Amber admits she still hasn’t spoken to him since they separated.
In her column for New magazine, Amber wrote: “Kem and I still haven’t spoken, but it’s getting easier because people aren’t talking about it as much.”

But wanting to keep her pecker up she admitted she was going to treat herself this Christmas.
“I’m treating myself to a Range Rover for Christmas… It’s massive, so I’ve made sure it’s got parking sensors because I’m a bit scared about trying to park it myself!
Maybe she’ll be driving it around to Pete’s…
