Love Island winners in shock split!

The show winners have called it quits after silly rows

Reality couples come and go (and in Steph and Jeremy’s case keep coming back), but we’re genuinely sad about this particular celebrity split.

Love Island lovebirds Cara De La Hoyde and boyfriend Nathan Massey have apparently split.

According to a report in the Sun, the pair have decided to call it a day after silly rows.

A source told the paper: “They’ve both mutually agreed to call it quits.

“It hasn’t been an easy decision but in the end they decided things would be better apart.

“They stayed really amicable and will definitely do all they can to be friendly.”

At the time a source said: “Nathan and Cara have always had a fiery relationship with plenty of ups and downs.

“But their latest bust-up is their biggest yet and it’ll be tough for them to come back from this.”

But it looks like the writing was on the wall. When friend of Entertainment Daily, Andy West, chatted to them on the red carpet just before Christmas, he hit a raw nerve when he discussed them getting engaged.

When asked if he planned to pop the question, Nathan started to cough and splutter: “Well, erm… I’m not one to put rings on fingers. But we are going in the right direction.

The subject of babies also caused a bit of friction too between the pair.

“Yeah, she loves babies. Maybe in a couple of years I’m still a massive kid,” Nathan told Andy. We want to do it at our own pace.”

But Cara said she definitely had kids in her mind, admitting: “We’ll have them four years time.

A nervous Nathan added: “I’m not ready for kids yet. But I want to be a dad. I’d be a great role model.
