The couples must all quickly find their feet as new parents as they tend to their baby’s every need, from regular feeds to nappy changes.

While some revel in their new roles, for others the task proves they are not yet ready to become a mum or dad.

For Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer, it’s a moment they’ve already discussed, as Jack, 26, said he’d love to have a family with his girlfriend during the lie detector test.

“Let’s go and see our baby, we made a baby!” Dani squeals when she finds out about the challenge ahead.

They decide to call their daughter, Kimberley, but then bicker over whether she can have a nickname as Jack vetoes Dani shortening it to “Kiki.”

After some initial protestations, Jack quickly revels in his new role as father, and the experience of co-parenting only brings him and Dani closer together after their rift over the lie detector test earlier in the week.

Dani then asks him: “Would you want a baby with me?”

Without hesitation, Jack responds: “Yeah. I said that already. Not now, maybe when I’m about 30 odd. I think we’re going to be really good parents, don’t you?”

Dani admits she’d be keen to emulate the relationship she has with her own mother, Jo, who had her when she was 20 with husband Danny Dyer, 41.

In the Beach Hut, Dani expresses her delight at how Jack has adapted to parenthood: “He’s brilliant with her. I feel like I love him more. I can’t believe it. He really loves that baby. This morning he wasn’t warming to her as much as I wanted him to do, and now he doesn’t leave her alone. He really loves her.”

Wes also takes to fatherhood like a duck to water after he and Megan decide to name their baby Mia.

He renames the Do Bits Society the “The Daddy Daycare Society” after the men are left holding the babies as the girls are given an afternoon out of the villa to have drinks.

Megan, 24, is relieved Wes, 20, is so good at parenting as she admits she finds taking care of their baby a struggle.

She tells him towards the end of the day: “I was a terrible mum. You really did surprise me. I thought being younger you would be just silly about it, like ‘Meg, here you go, you deal with that.’ But you really shocked me, you were better than me.”

Megan confesses that the experience has made her realise she is by no means ready for motherhood.

“Whatever age I was thinking, which was probably like 27, I feel like add another five on after today. 100 per cent. I’m just not ready yet,” she says.

Dr Alex agrees as he quickly tells Alexandra he didn’t pursue a career in paediatrics at medical school for a reason when she hints the challenge has made her feel broody.

“The thought of having a child gives me palpitations,” Alex later confides in Jack.

Meanwhile, Josh also struggles to adapt to fatherhood, much to Kaz’s annoyance as she accuses him of being an “absent father”.

“You’ve been running away, I don’t think you’ve held him once,” she said of their son Prince.

Josh protests: “I’ve held him a few times. It’s just he cries, a lot.”

He later admits in the Beach Hut: “I don’t know how people do it, it’s literally been half a day, and I’m a broken man.”

In contrast, original Laura is pleased at how Paul adapts to fatherhood.

They call their daughter Arabella, having only just discussed baby names the day before.

Laura tells the girls: “Paul has proper surprised me. He is amazing. I do feel like it’s brought us closer together. It’s so attractive for me to hear a guy literally be like ‘I really want to have a family, what do you think of this name and that name.’ We were literally talking about the babies’ names yesterday.”
