Love Island’s Greg and Amber reunite in Ireland but pair still aren’t official

We think it's only a matter of time...

They still might not be official, but Love Island’s Greg O’Shea and Amber Gill certainly seem to be heading that way.

The pair, who won the £50,000 prize money following a whirlwind romance on the ITV2 show, were finally reunited this weekend after weeks apart.

Amber travelled from Newcastle to Ireland to meet up with the rugby player.

On Sunday, she posted a series of sweet pictures of the pair as they enjoyed a trip to the Cliffs of Moher.

“Visiting Ireland with the best tour guide,” she captioned the pictures.

Their fellow Love Islanders all raced to the comments section, with Molly-Mae Hague writing: “Hope you’re having the best time!”

Ovie Soko added, “Got good craic like lol @gregoshea,” while Yewande Biala sweetly posted, “This picture makes me sooo happy!”

Taking to his Instagram account, Greg also teased Amber after she accidentally said “I love you” during a recent Instagram live with Yewande.

Amber quickly backtracked after letting it slip out, but Greg wasn’t going to let it slide and brought it up while sharing an Instagram story with his fans.

During a drive through the countryside, Greg joked: “So I haven’t even asked her to be my girlfriend yet and she’s saying on live that she loves me.

“What do you have to say about that? It’s been four weeks! You said you love me!”

It comes as she hinted the only reason they weren’t an official couple is because she hadn’t yet met Greg’s family.

The 22-year-old told ITV’s Loose Women: “We’re officially dating but we’re not official yet. That’s the thing, because Love Island is such a weird situation, it’s quite intense, we have only known each other a month.

“I think that is probably the reason we are not official, I haven’t met any of his family. I haven’t been over to Ireland yet, so that is the next step, but we are taking things really slowly.”

Amber, who was recently announced as a new Loose Women panellist, went on: “I think that, if you want to make something work, you put the effort in. If you really like someone, you are going to go to the ends of the earth to be with them.”
