Love Island EXCLUSIVE: Tyla can’t wait to meet Sam when she gets out

Sam said that they got on VERY well in the villa

| Updated:

After an explosive shock twist on Monday night’s episode, Love Island saw Sam Gowland and Chloe Crowhurst get the boot for being the least compatible couple.

Tensions grew as the group had to vote for who they thought was the least romantic couple on the island.

But it seems that despite Sam being “gutted” to leave, he has his eye on someone.

It turns out there was a romance going on that nobody knew about.

New girl Tyla Carr and Sam supposedly got on surprisingly well, and have agreed to see how things go when she gets out.

ED! asked which girl he would’ve chosen if he had his pick of the bunch, and he said: “Well, if I went by looks, Liv would be my type.

“But obviously, when we did eventually couple up, she kind of did my head in a little bit, and I did her head in too. It was never going to work.”

Then hilariously added: “One of us might have ended up in the pool!”

But then, the Geordie lad admitted that as 26-year-old Dom wasn’t wanting a romance to blossom between himself and Tyla, Sam was planning on coupling up with her.

They had a chat in the villa yesterday and wanted to give it a go between them.

*New couple alert*

“Me and Tyla had a talk, and when it came to the next re-coupling, she actually asked: ‘Will you pick me?’, and I said ‘Yeah’.

“I was going to pick her. Before I left, she said: ‘Make sure you message me when you get out, I’ll get your number and see what happens on the outside.'”

It seems that everybody is at it outside the villa.

First we had ex-Love Islanders Tyne-Lexi Clarson and Harley Judge start dating, and have been sharing the cutest photos.

Then we have the whole Jess Shears and Mike Thalassitis debacle. Did they or didn’t they sleep together after they both got dumped from the villa?

We had to ask Sam, 21, and Chloe, 22, what they thought the truth was.

The blonde Essex gal said: “Me and Sam have both said innocent until proven guilty. They’re the only people that know what’s actually happened.”

Sam doesn’t think the footballer and Jess got it on. “Firstly, I don’t believe it either. Until it comes out of Jess’s or Mike’s mouth, I don’t think it’s true,” he said.

So what about Chloe? Is she setting her sights on anybody now that she’s out?

Chloe and hunky Mike surprisingly shared a kiss before he had to leave, so a romance may be on the cards.

She said: “Me and Mike had a great connection. We spent a lot of time together in the villa and we genuinely got on so well.

“If we did stay, something could have potentially happened. It was a case of too little, too late, and you know, he’s back in Essex.

“Obviously, we’ll get in contact”.

Oh, bosses need to start another reality show with what’s happening with them all on the outside!

Tune in tomorrow on ITV2 at 9pm to see how the villa copes with the loss of Sam and Chloe.
