Love Island couple thrill fans with cosy photo after slew of split rumours

It looks like a show of unity to us...

Never mind a Strictly ‘curse’, it’s the couples who met on Love Island who seem to be dropping like flies at the moment.

Over the past week, no fewer than THREE pairings from the ITV reality show have reportedly split up.

However, it seems that one Love Island couple who LOOKED like they might be going their separate ways are now well and truly back on track.

Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood seemed doomed after the Gloucestershire star was accused of getting close to another woman during a night out.

But the couple have now shared a picture on social media that suggests they’re loved-up again.

The photo, uploaded to Chris’s Instagram page, shows the 24-year-old giving his girlfriend a piggy back, while both of them beam from ear to ear.

Chris accompanied the happy shot with a simple caption: “Night at the salon.”

A number of his followers have taken the image to mean that there’s no hard feelings between the pair.

One fan enthused: “Looks like they’re still together.”

Another wrote: “I’m so happy to see this pic… your [sic] a power couple. The strongest of the whole series.”

And a third gushed: “This makes me warm and fuzzy inside.”

It’s been a stormy few months for Chris and Olivia since they met on Love Island back in June.

After Chris revealed on social media that married Loose Women star Katie Price had been sending him ‘flirty’ text messages, the former glamour model hit back by claiming that Chris had replied to them – something he denies to this day.

And last month, The Sun reported that it had obtained video footage showing the Love Island hunk enjoying the company of another woman during a night out.

Shortly after, Olivia took to Twitter to reveal that she wouldn’t be attending that night’s OK! Beauty Awards, leading some to fear that their relationship had hit the rocks.

It’s been reported that three other Love Island couples – Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies, Kady McDermott and Scott Thomas, and Rachel Fenton and Rykard Jenkins – all went their separate ways this week.

But judging by Chris and Olivia’s picture, they won’t be joining the list.
