Louise Redknapp has some very exciting comeback plans in the pipeline

The star is ready to rebuild her career

It’s been 19 years since Louise Redknapp went solo and left R&B girl group Eternal.

But now it’s been reported that the singer is set on returning to the music scene and is planning a pop comeback.

The Sun revealed that the former Strictly star has been back in the studio recording brand new singles – which she wants to release in the next few months!

The star reportedly split from her husband of 19 years, Jamie Redknapp, and now insiders have revealed she thinks this is the “perfect” time to return to music.

A source told the tabloid: “Louise thinks it’s the perfect time to start rebuilding her music career.

“It’s always been her passion and she’s loving being part of Cabaret, where she’s met loads of musicians.”

They continued: “They’ve helped get her back in the studio and they worked on some old Eternal songs and other numbers.

“It’s still early days but she’s really excited by it and even recorded songs during their session last week.”

Louise is apparently ready to shake off her “mum-at-home” image.

The source added: “It’s just another step for Louise. She’s enjoying the opportunities that are coming with being a single woman.”

Back in July The Sun claimed the couple, who tied the knot in 1998, were “formally living apart” and had decided to go their separate ways.

A friend told the tabloid: “Louise told one of her closest friends she and Jamie had split.

“Louise was quite open about the fact the relationship was over.”

“She mentioned how much time they had spent apart and that when she and Jamie had tried to spend time together it hadn’t been good.

“It’s a very difficult situation because of their two children who they are both determined to protect,” they added.

It was said that the couple’s relationship was put under strain after they spent so much time apart due to her TV work and Jamie’s football career.

An insider told Now magazine: “The distance between them – both physically and metaphorically – caused changes in their relationship.

“Because of the time they’ve been spending apart, little cracks have appeared. Suddenly they’re arguing about things that have never been an issue before.”

Earlier this month it was reported that footballer Jamie was planning a “make-or-break” holiday to try and win Louise back.

He apparently wants to organise a make-or-break family holiday in Barbados where he hopes they can finally try and get their relationship back on track.

“Jamie really wants Louise to come to Barbados,”  a source has told the Mirror.

“They have had their best times with the children on holiday – that’s where they are always happy and the two of them feel close and romantic.”

But it seems Louise is enjoying life as a single woman.

The mum-of-two shared a snap on social media of her in a studio with pals.

She captioned the post: “I got to work with some amazing people this week thanks guys I loved it 🖤 🎤.”

Earlier in the month the media personality enjoyed a boozy night out with BFF Daisy Lowe.

The pair apparently racked up a £10,000 bill at DSTRKT nightclub in London.

An onlooker revealed: “Louise and Daisy stuck together all night.

“Even when one of them went to the loo, or to dance, the other would follow. At one point, they got up to show off their moves on the dancefloor.

“Louise seemed a bit tipsy and wasn’t keen to have her photo taken in the club.

“Everyone was drinking and dancing and having a good time.”
