Speaking to Metro, Louise said: “I always hold everything in my heart and there’ll never be a day that I don’t feel sad about it because he was my husband for 20 years and the love I had for him will never leave me.

“But, I’ve had to pick myself up and find a better place and I’m definitely loving working again.”

She went on to call Jamie an “amazing dad” to their boys.

Louise added: “He is an amazing dad and we speak every day because the kids do a million things. We live five minutes from each other and when you’ve got children your lives are very much intertwined.”

Earlier this week, it was reported that Jamie has apparently moved on from Louise and is dating British model Lizzie Bowden.

Jamie was seen leaving Annabel’s in Mayfair on Saturday night with a woman reported to be Lizzie.

A source told The Sun: “Jamie has bided his time out of courtesy to Louise. They’re still close but now might be the time he finally starts dating again.”

Following the news, Louise shared a cryptic message to Instagram about not giving up.

The mum-of-two’s message read: “No matter how you feel. Get up, dress up, show up and never give up.”

Jamie and Louise have remained close friends following their split.

Louise opened up about her relationship with Jamie during an appearance on Heart Radio in February.

She said: “It’s been really tough. But I mean, you know, he’s my best friend. It’s been really tough but things happen. I saw him yesterday and it was all good.

“We had school meetings and stuff, like you do, so all good.”
