Louis Tomlinson’s sister Félicité died from ‘perfect storm’ overdose, court finds

She died suddenly in March

Louis Tomlinson’s younger sister died after an accidental overdose of cocaine, painkillers and anxiety drug alprazolam, an inquest has found.

The One Direction singer, 27, was devastated earlier this year when his sister Félicité Tomlinson collapsed and died from a suspected heart attack.

The 18-year-old was found at her fourth-floor studio flat in Earls Court, London, in March.

Now, an inquest has ruled that she died accidentally from a “perfect storm” of drugs.

As reported by MailOnline, coroner Dr Shirley Radcliffe said today (11.09.19) at a hearing in London: “It was a perfect storm, the OxyCodone, the alpraxolam and cocaine. I find no evidence this was a deliberate act to end her life.”

Louis was said to have been really close to Félicité.

A source quoted by The Sun shortly after her death said the family was “totally devastated”.

They told the paper: “Félicité was an absolutely adored young woman who was loved by Louis and her whole family. They are all totally devastated, as you can imagine.

“She had so many friends and was such a positive happy person. It’s a massive loss to the world. She was a loveable, caring, bright, passionate, popular and beautiful young lady.”

At the time, Louis had been due to perform his new single, Two Of Us – which was written in honour of his late mother, Johannah Deakin, who died of cancer in 2016 – on Comic Relief, but pulled out as he fought to come to terms with his sister’s shock passing.

Only days before Félicité died, he had opened up about grief in an interview on Lorraine.

Speaking on the ITV daytime show, the singer discussed the song he wrote for his late mum, telling showbiz host Dan Wootton: “We can all talk about grief a little bit more. That’s why I feel good about the lyrics because I could speak about it publicly.

“[My mum] was obsessed with me playing piano, and they said, ‘What about playing the opening verse?’, and normally I might have said no but knowing that she liked that idea, I kind of just zoned into that and just went for it and pulled it off.”
