Lorraine Kelly has given her assessment of the failed relationship between Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham – despite admitting she never watched them together on Love Island.
The Dyer clan were already at odds with Lorraine after her coverage of the split, with Dani’s nan Christine calling for a boycott of her show.

And now Lorraine has claimed that the couple were doomed from the start, saying the had “no sexual chemistry.”
The presenter commented on the split in her column in The Sun, saying that her interview with them led her to believe the relationship wouldn’t last.
“As someone who never watched Love Island, the whole Jack and Dani romance passed me by,” she said.
“The pair seemed sweet and pleasant when I interviewed them, but there was zero sexual chemistry.”
She went on to say that she thought the environment of Love Island must make it easy for infatuations to arise, but that it’s harder for relationships to flourish in the real world.
“In the hot house of Love Island, with hormones running riot and the prospect of fame dangled in front of them, I understand why contestants might think they are genuinely in love – and that they will be together for ever,” she said.
“But back in the real world, where you have to pop to the shops for bog roll in the pouring rain, they never stood a chance.”
Jack and Dani won last year’s series of the popular reality dating show, and seemed to be a rock solid couple throughout the show’s run.
Once the show was over, Jack appeared to be welcomed in to the Dyer family as the pair moved in together.
But the relationship faltered a few times, with the couple splitting last year, before reuniting just before Christmas.
Things appeared rocky again in February, when Jack’s use of cocaine on a night out appeared to cause a rift between the pair.

And now they’ve broken up for good, with Jack confirming the split in a now deleted Instagram post.
“There is no easy way to say this and it isn’t going to be an easy time but me and Dani are not in a relationship anymore,” he said.
“We will always care a lot for each other and have love for each other and I mean that from the bottom of my heart and I wish her nothing but happiness.”
Since the break up, Dani has been busy promoting her new book, What Would Dani Do?”
