Looks like this celeb fitness guru lied about not doing Strictly Come Dancing…

He'll set pulses racing...

Strictly has had its fair share of good-looking male celebs over the years.

We can’t be the only ones who almost choked on our dinner when the likes of Danny Mac and Peter Andre strutted around in next to nothing while doing the tango.

And it appears that the popular BBC1 show has lined up another ladies’ favourite for the upcoming series.

According to the Daily Star, fitness guru Joe Wicks will be swapping recipes for routines when the show returns later this year.

If the report turns out to be true, it’ll be something of an about-turn for the Surrey-born hunk, 30.

Only last month, he appeared on Loose Women and poo-pooed the idea of appearing on Strictly, telling the panel: “I was asked, [but] it’s not something I want to do right now.

“I’m too focused on doing what I’m doing with the online stuff and the workouts and trying to get the school kids exercising.”

But Wicks’ growing popularity won’t have been lost on the Strictly producers.

Due to his good looks and nutritional advice, he now has a massive fan base. And he seems like an obvious choice to appease viewers hungry for eye-candy.

“They reckon he’ll be the hunkiest contestant to appear on the show,” said a source. “He would certainly get the ratings up – especially in the costumes they’ve planned for him.

“There will be a lot of flesh on show, that’s for sure.”

Wicks’ first published cookbook, Lean In 15: 15 Minute Meals, published in 2015, was a massive success, selling over 900,000 copies.

We’re sure he’ll be a massive success when he pulls on his dancing shoes, too.
