This Morning viewers were left in tears after a London Bridge terror victim, Geoff Ho, was reunited with PC Sam Philpot who saved his life.
The tragic attack took place on June 3 after a van ploughed into pedestrians before three men got out and started stabbing people around the Borough Market area.
Geoff spoke to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield about the terrible night and how he tried to stop the terrorists from attacking more people.
Geoff explained that the attackers attempted to run into a restaurant to try and get to people. He said: “They kicked in the door and as they did so people hid.
“I had to do something. I had to try and keep them occupied so I had to keep them busy and engaged. If I could keep them talking, their attention would be on me.”
Talking about being stabbed by one attacker Geoff went on to explain: “They got me once in the throat and they got me in the Adam’s apple and they got me on the side of my head.”
Geoff told the presenters that Sam was the one who saved his life after he escorted them to safety.
Geoff revealed: “Everything was chaos and Sam was off duty but he came on the scene.
“He ran towards danger and as Sam appeared, he helped to keep us calm and escort us to safety. He’s one of the guys who saved my life.”
Phil, 55, then told Geoff that the show wanted to reunite him with Sam as he said: “We’ve got Sam here.
“Would you like to come here Sam?”
As Sam walked over to the sofa Geoff was visibly emotional as he hugged him.
Talking about the night Sam told the hosts: “It was the worst night of my life.
“I was off duty at the time. The first time I saw Geoff I could see there was a whole in his throat.
“I was surprised at how calm he was!”
He added: “I assessed his throat and got some details and then my other colleague who was on duty at the time came over and helped us.”
Geoff then went on to thank Sam for saving his life.
Viewers were in tears over their reunion.
