There was a revolt on the sofas of This Morning viewers across the nation.
With fans of the show settling down to enjoy their daily fix, there was consternation when the ITV daytime show started.
Holly Willoughby was on holiday!
And worse of all, no-one had pre-warned the viewers!
There was mutiny in living rooms up and down the country, especially after Phillip Schofield introduced Christine Bleakley as Holly's stand-in.

It is often the case that Holly has a break at half-term time but it seems that she needs to post a public announcement of this fact to appease those that watch the show.
Christine is no stranger to the This Morning couch, as she replaced Holly while she was on maternity leave, before Amanda Holden took the stand-in role on a more permanent basis.
Poor Christine wasn't well received though, as viewers took to Twitter to slam her appearance.
After fans called out the show for being a "load of rubbish" without Holly, they then turned on Christine.
In specific, they turned on her 'fake' laugh as she found This Morning guest Alan Carr to be the funny man we all know and love.
Don't worry folks, Holly has only gone for a week.

A spokesperson for ITV said to the Sun Online: "Just like in previous half term breaks Phil and Holly have split the time off.
“Phillip and Christine are back hosting Monday to Thursday this week with Eamonn and Ruth on Friday.
“Then next week Holly will be back with Ben Shephard for Monday to Thursday and then Rylan and Dan will present on Friday.”
