She’s riding high in the charts with Little Mix, but apparently Jesy Nelson has got her eye on another glamorous career path!

The singer became a star after joining the girl band in 2011, smashing records left and right.

Singles like Black Magic, Shout Out to my Ex and Wings propelled Little Mix to the top of the charts time and time again.

But according to The Sun, Jesy’s looking to try her hand at acting as well, and has started the search for a high-profile agent to land her blockbuster roles.

And she’s apparently been boosted by the success of another famous pop-star-turned-actor, Harry Styles.

The One Direction crooner earned rave reviews for his work in Christopher Nolan’s WWII epic Dunkirk.

And he’s even been tipped by some as a possible next James Bond, when Daniel Craig hangs up his tuxedo.

A source told the paper: “Jesy was in a few movies when she was little, and acting is something that she has always dreamed of pursuing.

“She was impressed with the way Harry managed to make his mark on the film world, and would love to be cast in a blockbuster of her own.”

Jesy appeared as an extra in a few movies as a child, and is looking to make as big a mark on Hollywood as she has on the UK pop scene.

She’s not the only Little Mixer who apparently has designs on Hollywood, though – bandmate Jade Thirlwall reportedly came within an ace of landing the role of Princess Jasmine in the upcoming Aladdin remake.

So where does this leave the band – and more importantly, their legions of fans?

Well, thankfully, according to The Sun, the band have all agreed their music always comes first, and any other career opportunities they’re offered are just a bonus.

That’s a relief! We’re not sure we’d like a song called “Shout Out to my Ex-Bandmates.”

ED! has reached out to Jesy’s representatives for comments on the matter.

Meanwhile, the group have been busy in the studio working on their FIFTH album. Where has the time gone?!

A tweet sent from the band’s official accountlast week said: “It’s official… is actually in the works… We’re going to be patiently waiting for this one, it’s going to be an absolute dream!”

Elsewhere, the girls will be taking to the road in July as part of their Summer Hits Tour.

The 15-date tour kicks off in Hove on July 6 and ends in Inverness on July 29.

See you there!
