Lisa Armstrong has shared a beautiful picture with a new bride after following through on a Twitter promise.
The make-up guru was contacted by bride Bethany on social media after the make-up artist she’d booked for her wedding day fell through at the last minute.
And with just ten days’ notice, Lisa stepped in to save the day!

Lisa, who is head of hair and make-up on Strictly Come Dancing, shared a beautiful pic of herself and Bethany to Twitter, telling fans: “Myself and @ellepig on her special day. Was an absolute pleasure, what a beautiful bride and an amazing family. Hope you had the best day?!!
“Oh how we laughed #cantletthebridedown xx.”
Bethany shared her own image of the day to Twitter with a message thanking Lisa her helping her and the entire bridal party get ready.
She wrote: “The most kindest, funniest, talented lady gave up her time to make me feel and look beautiful on my wedding day. 3 bridesmaids, mother of the bride and the bride all felt super special for a super special day.
Bethany added: “Thank you so much @lisaAmakeup. Was a pleasure to meet you.”
Lisa replied: “It was a absolute pleasure, you and your fam are amazing. #welaughedalot Hope you had a wonderful day? #newfriend #meninbushes!! #stilllooking.”
Bethany, who shared a full-length photo of her beautiful make-up and stunning wedding gown, also told another Twitter user that Lisa had been “so lovely” and made everyone feel relaxed.
Fans were quick to praise Lisa for helping Bethany out, especially when her schedule is no doubt jam-packed with Strictly about to start again!
Others lavished praise on Bethany, telling her she made an absolutely stunning bride.
One fan wrote: “Well done Lisa, your heart must be massive! And Bethany, you look absolutely stunning, hope u had the best day (sic).”
Another said: “Gorgeous bride and gorgeous makeup!! Lisa you are stunning too and what a fantastic person you are!! We need you on tv!! X.”

Bethany contacted Lisa on Twitter just ten days before her wedding after the make-up artist she’d booked fell through at the last minute.
Lisa said she was happy to help, offering to attend the wedding with an assistant to do the entire bridal party’s make-up!
Bethany quipped to Lisa: “That’s so amazing! Thank you so much. More excited about having my make up done that getting married!!!!”
Lisa replied: “Haha that’s funny, we’ll look after you and make you look amazing!!”
And indeed she did!
