Linda Robson gets Ant McPartlin’s name wrong as she reveals he walked in on her ‘half-dressed’

Embarrassing!

Linda Robson recounted an unexpected meeting with Ant McPartlin on Friday’s episode of Loose Women.

Or, sorry, should we say Ant McFartlin!

The 59-year-old told the panel she’d been getting ready in her dressing room backstage when who should walk in announced but Ant!

It was Kaye Adams who brought the subject up, saying: “So, Linda, you had a little visitor earlier on to your dressing room, didn’t you?”

Laughing, Linda said: “I did, yes.”

Linda explained: “I was in my dressing room, just about to take my top off and put this top on when all of a sudden… we have codes to our dressing rooms and I heard the code go, and I thought it was someone bringing something in or something.

“It was Ant McPartlin who came walking in on me!”

At this stage we’ll point out that Linda actually said Ant McFartlin, which caused much amusement among the panel!

Stacey Solomon piped up: “Ant McFartlin. Is that how you say it?”

Denise van Outen corrected her: “It’s Ant McPARTLIN!”

But, anyway, back to the story, and Linda continued: “Alright, Ant McPartlin came walking in and he said, ‘Oh, sorry, Linda.’ I went, ‘Oh, hello love’ and he walked out and went back to his own dressing room.

“Do you know when you think, did that just happen? Did Ant just walk in on me and I was nearly half-naked?”

Can you imagine?!

Kaye then asked if Ant had said anything about Linda’s neck, which was a reference to an earlier Loose Women episode this week in which Linda said a cruel troll had compared her neck to a vagina.

It prompted her to consult a Harley Street surgeon about having her neck tightened.

However, updating everyone on Friday’s show, Linda said she’d decided not to go ahead with the surgery.

It came after 62% of viewers urged Linda not to have surgery, while 38% said she should only have the surgery if she really wanted to.

“I’m just going to keep my vagina neck,” joked Linda.

Kaye said the whole situation summed up Loose Women’s Body Stories campaign, which encourages everyone to feel confident and happy in their own skin.
