Poor Liam Payne, he may have millions of adoring fans who always tell him how good he looks but he wishes his girlfriend Cheryl would do the same!
The former One Direction singer, who has a baby with X Factor star Cheryl, has joked a compliment from his beloved wouldn’t go amiss once in a while.
He made the comment as he was interviewed on New York radio station 103.5 KTU by presenting twins Lulu Y LaLa.
They said to him: “You had Twitter going crazy last night because you were without a shirt walking around a hotel room and everyone was like, ‘Oh My God!’
“Does your girlfriend get jealous when you post pictures like that?”
Liam, 24, replied: “No, she doesn’t care. She doesn’t even say anything. She gets it but I would like her to say, ‘you look nice in that’, a little compliment now and again to make me feel good.”
He added that with Valentine’s Day coming up, it’s not an easy time for him to be with a woman who has everything, particularly as she often says she doesn’t want a present – and he doesn’t know if she really means it!
He said: “It’s difficult, my missus is famous, she gets her own stuff. What the hell do I buy you?
“It makes it hard when I have zero time to think about that stuff, I need to get better at it.”
He said they will definitely do something together to celebrate the romantic occasion, though.
“I think we will go out for dinner somewhere, have some time in London,” he said.

Liam was on the radio to promote his new single with Rita Ora, called For You, which features on the third Fifty Shades film, Fifty Shades Freed.
Given the subject matter of the books the films are based on, Liam was asked: “Are you into kinky stuff, have you seen the movies?”
He replied: “No, I need to catch up before I go to the premiere.”
As the hosts then apologised if their question had made him uncomfortable, he reassured them: “People know I made a baby so we can go there!”
Liam and Cheryl welcomed baby Bear last March and she is expected to return to the limelight soon after taking maternity leave.
Liam has also been busy working on new projects, he has a new album coming soon and said he’d also love to try acting like his bandmate Harry Styles.
