Liam Payne has opened up about what’s behind his song writing – revealing a little more than anyone really needed to know.
The One Direction star claimed that his love of sex was the inspiration behind a lot of his songs.

The Sun has reported that Liam was speaking in a yet-to-be-aired radio interview with Gaz Drinkwater for Total Access, when he made the confessions.
“I like sex,” he said. “So what better way than to musically express myself as a young man growing up. I’m into it. I like it. It’s good.”
Of course, it’s far from uncommon for singers to write songs about relationships – both the emotional and physical aspects – but perhaps Liam could have just let his lyrics do the talking on this one.
After all, he had a song featured on the soundtrack of raunchy romance, Fifty Shades Freed.
The song, “For You,” which Liam performed with Rita Ora features the lyrics “I’m free as a bird, When I’m flying in your cage, I’m diving in deep.
Perhaps he doesn’t need to spell everything out in interviews…
The interview comes just a few weeks after the end of Liam’s heavily-publicised relationship with Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Tweedy – which may have affected the release of his solo album.
The singer claimed that while the album was almost done, he decided against releasing several of the songs.
“I have enough songs for it and was ready to put it out,” he said. “But I kind of feel like some of the songs I’m not ready to put out right now with the way I’m feeling. I don’t know.”

Liam suggested that the break up had affected the angle he would be taking with the album.
“To be honest with you, life’s took a little bit of a different turn as of late, so I’m kind of going with that turn and being honest with my feelings and stuff,” he said.
The singer has been linked with model Cairo Dweek since his split from Cheryl.
