Speaking to New! magazine, Lauren said: “I bumped into him the other day. I didn’t realise it was him. I saw his body and thought: ‘I know that body.’

“But it was a lot smaller. I looked and smiled and Michelle was there as well, but it isn’t like that. I’d happily say hello but he sort of went [looks the other direction]. It was fine. It was like they didn’t even know me.”

She added: “I haven’t got a problem – it’s history. We were engaged and that’s it. He got married and I met someone else. He’s settled, but he’s so into his career.”

Lauren and Mark split in 2011 and four years later, Mark found love with Our Girl actress Michelle.

Mark, 31, has recently turned to the UK after working in America for the last two years.

The star told The Sun his actress wife burst into tears when she found out he would be moving home.

Mark also hinted former Coronation Street star Michelle had wanted him to return from Los Angeles ahead of his departure from entertainment news show Extra – but didn’t want his decision to give up the role to be influenced by her.
