EastEnders star Lacey Turner tied the knot with her childhood sweetheart Matt Kay in a romantic ceremony in Ibiza earlier this month.
The couple first met when they were just 15 and have finally become hubby and wife after Matt popped the question during a trip to Venice last September.
Now Lacey, who plays Stacey Fowler in the soap, has shared a snap of her sparkling wedding ring in the first snap since their special day.
Lacey grinned for the camera as she wrapped her arms around her beau.
She captioned the post: “My 1 ❤️.”
Fans rushed to gush over the sweet pic with one commenting: “So many congrats you two. Gorgeous photo.”
Another added: “Absolute relationship goals!! Your wedding was perfect.”
“You make a beautiful couple… congratulations,” a third wrote.
Lacey and barber shop owner Matt said “I do” in front of 120 of their closest friends and family.
Many of her EastEnders cast mates, past and present, also attended the ceremony including Laurie Brett (Jane Beale), Scott Maslen (Jack Branning), James Bye (Martin Fowler), Jake Wood (Max Branning), Aaron Sidwell (Steven Beale), and Barbara Windsor (Peggy Mitchell).
Speaking about her big day Lacey revealed: “I didn’t go to sleep until 5am on our wedding night as I was still so excited about the day and then I woke up at 8am!
“On the day I couldn’t wait to get down the aisle and marry Matt.
“I was like: ‘hurry up, I want to get married’!”
“I wasn’t nervous walking down the aisle, which was strange as I can’t walk down a red carpet without wanting the ground to swallow me up,” she added.
Talking about her soap co-stars being there Lacey said: “It was so much fun. Scott and his wife Estelle are such fun people and they’re such lovers of the island anyway – they had a great time.
“It was lovely to see Jake with his wife Alison and their kids, and James and his wife Victoria, and Aaron and his girlfriend Tricia, as well as Laurie, who came with her mum.
“They’ve watched us grow together, so it was nice they couple all make it. I was so glad Barbara could make it too.”
The soap actress went on to gush about how lucky she feels to have met her soul mate at such a young age.
“I just feel really lucky. It’s really rare to spend this many years with someone and to still feel the same as it did in the beginning,” she said.
“We don’t know any different, I guess, but I know we definitely feel lucky.”
Lacey got engaged to Matt a year ago in Venice and she told OK! at the time how shocked she was by his proposal.
The star announced her engagement on social media alongside the sweetest photo.
The snap showed Lacey looking visibly stunned as she showed off her diamond ring.
Matt shared the same photo as he wrote: “She said yes ooooosssshhhhhhhh #fiance@laceyturner.”
Now husband and wife, the pair have revealed they can’t wait to start a family together.
Lacey, 29, said: “That would be nice. Please God, we carry on the Kays!
“I want four children.”
