She won’t be able to make it to the Emmys on Sunday night because she is filming her own show.

But there is one person Kris Jenner wants to walk away with an award – David Schwimmer.

The 49-year-old star has been nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or a Movie.

The former Friends star portrayed her ex-husband Robert Kardashian in the hit series, The People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story and the reality TV matriarch is thrilled with his performance.

Speaking at a charity event in Beverly Hills on Saturday, Jenner told reporters: “I would love to see David Schwimmer win an award because I think he did such a great job.

“I love that! He’s a great guy and he’s a terrific actor and I have a lot of respect for him.

“And he did a really amazing job in the role of Robert Kardashian and I hope he wins just because he did a great job.

“He deserves it.”

Before she was a reality TV star, Jenner was married to Robert Kardashian – Simpson’s one time best friend. The sports hero’s ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson was one of her close friends.

By the time the American football player was being tried for the murder of Nicole and waiter Ron Goldman, Kris was married to Bruce Jenner and her ex-husband was part of his pal’s legal defence team.

There was a clear split between the exes with Jenner believing that OJ was guilty and Kardashian clinging to the belief that he was not.

Schwimmer says the mum-of-six was an invaluable resource when he was prepping for the role.

He told People magazine earlier this year: “Kris was really, really generous with her time.

“It was really great to learn about how much a man of faith he was and how loyal and considerate he was.

“He was a very humble, very private person. Not at all seeking the limelight, that was inadvertent.”
