Kim Kardashian is building a $100,000 state-of-the-art panic room in her Los Angeles mansion – after she was bound, gagged and held at gunpoint in Paris.

The reality TV star is suffering from nightmares and anxiety following the multi-million dollar robbery, so has decided to boost security and build the room, according to In Touch.

The panic room will be made to withstand a fire of “over 1000 degrees” and a “7.0 earthquake”, a source told the magazine.

Husband Kanye West has even hired a security company that protects government officials in war-torn to watch over his wife, and the children North, three, and Saint, 10 months.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has been left so traumatized by the Paris ordeal she has been ringing her therapist at all hours.

“She’s not well,” the source said. “It’s worse than anyone knows.”

“She’s been suffering severe panic attacks and refuses to be alone,” they added. “She’s been having flashbacks and nightmares. She’s a nervous wreck. She gets especially anxious late at night.

“When the kids are sleeping she has time to think and she just replays that dreadful night over and over.”

Meanwhile husband Kanye is so worried he has reportedly canceled an extravagant party organized to celebrate his wife’s 36th birthday.

The 35-year-old says she was tied up and gagged during the terrifying incident in Paris on Oct 2.

The robbers stole $9 million worth of jewelry including a $4.5 million engagement ring.

She has been keeping a low profile since and has not updated her social media since the day of the robbery.

French police are still investigating the crime but have so far had no leads.
