Kim Cattrall launches astonishing rant at Sarah Jessica Parker just days after brother’s tragic death

There's been no response from SJP yet

Kim Cattrall has lashed out at her former Sex And The City co-star Sarah Jessica Parker over her response to Kim’s brother’s death.

The actress, 61, previously announced that her “one of a kind” brother Christopher Cattrall had died unexpectedly after she had appealed for help in finding him.

It led to an outpouring of condolences messages from friends, fans and former co-stars – including Sarah.

But now Kim has posted on Instagram: “I don’t need your love or support at this tragic time Sarah Jessica Parker.”

Kim, who played Samantha in Sex And The City, wrote: “My mom asked me today ‘when will that Sarah Jessica Parker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?’

“Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now.

“Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona.”

Her brother’s tragic death came just hours after she’d launched an appeal online, asking people to keep a look out for him.

After she shared the sad news of his passing, Kim’s former Sex And The City co-stars reached out to her.

Sarah, who played Sex And The City’s Carrie Bradshaw, was among them, saying: “Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and yours and Godspeed to your beloved brother.”

She later told Entertainment Tonight: “If somebody in your life, whether you’re in touch with them or not, [is] suffering for any reason, it’s involuntary that you want to convey condolences or sadness or just let someone know you’re thinking about them.”

While Kim hit out at Sarah’s remarks, she welcomed those of other co-stars.

Cynthia Nixon, who played Miranda, said: “Hey Kim, such awful news. So sorry to hear. Sending you love.”

Kim replied: “Cynthia, hearing your voice meant so much to me. Thank you for reaching out. Love Kim.”

Last year, Kim was quoted as saying the Sex And The City cast were “never friends” and that Sarah “could have been nicer” after Kim turned down a third Sex And The City movie.

Speaking about her three co-stars, she told Piers Morgan’s Life Stories: “We’ve never been friends. We’ve been colleagues and in some ways it’s a very healthy place to be.”

Kim had previously said the relationship had become “toxic” and hit out at being portrayed as a “diva”, adding of Sarah: “I really think she could have been nicer. I don’t know what her issue is.”
