She's on a mission

Singer and TV star Kerry Katona has set herself a 21-day challenge to lose the weight she has recently gained.

The mum-of-five announced she hopes to shed the pounds in three weeks after putting on a stone.

The 38-year-old took to her other Instagram page, called Bouncing Back With Kerry, and told fans she was going to try to smash her goal.

Kerry is now back on the diet regime Herbalife. She said she wants to bounce back “mentally” and “physically” after letting her routine slide.

She told her followers: “It’s time to get bouncing back into shape mentally and physically! Put a (beeping) stone on being off it!”

The star has now embarked on her healthy eating and exercise regime.

She revealed she has been getting back into yoga, drinking healthy shakes for breaksfast and snacking on low fat foods like tuna and eggs.

She’s also been drinking a herbal tea, called Whizzy tea.

Kerry’s weight loss mission comes as she had to defend herself for eating a giant burger when on holiday in Greece earlier this month.

The Atomic Kitten singer was furious that she was body-shamed after a topless pic of her chowing down circulated online.

She said in her New! magazine column: “I know everyone’s going mad about me scoffing a burger in my bikini but sorry, would you prefer it if it was a line of coke?”

Despite her annoyance, Kerry insisted she won’t let the nasty comments make her feel bad about her body. She added that she won’t be made to feel she has to lose weight, she is doing it out of choice.

“It hasn’t affected my confidence and it’s not the reason I’m back down the gym – it’s just time to get back in the routine,” she added.
