Kerry Katona is hooked up to a drip as she spends the night in hospital for mystery illness

Get well soon, Kezza!

Former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona has spent the night in hospital.

The one-time singer was rushed to A&E yesterday (October 16), and shared a picture of herself sitting up in a hospital bed on an IV drip.

Although she hasn’t revealed what she’s being treated for, Kerry has told followers that she first endured a wait in A&E.

In the next shot she appeared to have been moved to a private room.

She was seen in an NHS hospital gown and told her followers: “Still in! Still no news!”

Kerry also shared a picture of her doting boyfriend Ryan Mahoney, who had accompanied her to the hospital.

I don’t post many pics of me and Ryan but I just want you all to know that this man has helped me find my self worth.

She posted a picture of him sitting in a chair beside her bed and said: “Bless him! Keeping me company.”

The following morning, Kerry was still in hospital, but she seemed in good spirits.

She shared a selfie of herself in her hospital gown and said that she was watching Good Morning Britain.

She said: “Still in hospital. Laughing my head off @gmb watching @benshephardofficial @kategarraway with a fake leg.”

Kerry was referring to a skit which saw Ben test Kate’s flexibility, leaving co-host Susanna Reid – and Kerry – in hysterics.

Ent Daily has contacted Kerry’s reps about her hospitalisation.

A few days before she went into hospital, Kerry paid tribute to boyfriend Ryan.

She told fans: “I don’t post many pics of me and Ryan but I just want you all to know that this man has helped me find my self worth.”

She added: “He completely and utterly believes in me and has pushed the past so far away that it’s just in view enough to see and learn from.”

Speaking this week, Kerry revealed that she is actually keen to work with one of her exes, having said yes to presenting a show with Brian McFadden.
