Kerry Katona slams trolls who criticised her little daughter’s make-up pics

Former Atomic Kitten star refuses to apologise

Kerry Katona has launched an attack on the internet trolls who criticised her for pictures she uploaded to Instagram earlier this month.

The former Atomic Kitten star, 38, received numerous disapproving comments after she shared a picture of her five-year-old daughter Dylan-Jorge wearing make-up.

But now the mum-of-four has decided to hit back, having a dig at the “bore brigade” and refusing to apologise for the photos.

Though there were plenty of positive comments about Dylan-Jorge’s pics, a small minority of Kerry’s 487,000 followers took umbrage with what they saw.

One scathed: “Stop this [expletive], enjoy your childhood.”

Another added: “A bit of make-up is fun. Too much like this is giving little girls the wrong image…”

And a third wrote: “Your daughter does not need make-up, she has plenty of time once she is older, natural beauty is the best.”

The comments clearly left a bitter taste in Kerry’s mouth, and she used her column in new! magazine as an opportunity to launch a counter-attack.

She wrote: “The bore brigade were out in force last week, having a go at me for posting pics of my DJ wearing make-up.

“I’m not apologising for anything. DJ’s a little girl and she loves putting on make-up like Mummy and her big sisters.

“If you have a problem with that, do one.”

Yesterday, we reported that another of Kerry’s daughter’s – 16-year-old Lilly-Sue – has been shedding the pounds with the help of a controversial weight-loss supplement.

The teenager posted a ‘before and after’ picture with her 30,000 followers on Instagram.

In the caption for the photo, she revealed that she’d been using Herbalife’s weight-loss products – something her mum has herself spoken about using in the past.

According to The Sun, there have been several academic papers focused on the possibility of a link between Herbalife and drug-induced liver injuries, however no definitive relationship has been established.
