Kerry Katona has addressed the news that her ex George Kay was revealed to have a breakdown on a rooftop.
During her third divorce, the Atomic Kitten singer is staying strong despite the headlines, and says she wants “no more drama”.
Thanking her fans for all of their support, she took to Instagram to post messages to her 64,000 followers.
On Sunday, she wrote: “Still on the road! Haven’t read the papers! But thank you all for your Messages,” followed by kissing and praying emojis.
She then added: “Strength through hard times!”.
The Warrington-born star then shared another post, which read: “If God puts me on a rough path he will provide me with strong shoes…”
On Monday morning, the mum-of-five also seemed to be in a good place and wanted to spread some positivity to her fans throughout the drama.
“GOOD MORNING! We got our head on straight, our heart in the right place, and our smile fully loaded – Let’s get out there and change the world! No more BS, no more drama! Well I hope not!” she said.
Later, she told her fans that she was excited for the future.
“Changes ahead… I hope I’m ready for the surprises life has prepared. Don’t know where this story is going, but it’s time to start a new chapter.”
According to the Daily Star the incident with George Kay, which went on for two hours, ended in police managing to talk him down.
“He was just lying there stark naked screaming about something. Most of it was pretty incoherent but every now and then he screamed, ‘help me’,” a source told the newspaper.
“He shouted something about someone trying to shoot him. There was a group of people and police standing in the garden trying to reason with him.
There is no suggestion that George went near the edge of the roof but the incident has sparked concern for his well being.
Merseyside Police released a statement saying: “Officers were called at 4.05pm to reports a man was on the roof of a property.”
The incident comes the month after Kerry and George reportedly ended their relationship for the second time. They got back together in October after spending eleven months apart, with George facing allegations of assault.
Kerry withdrew the charges and the case was dropped in July 2016.
Kerry and George have a three-year-old daughter, Dylan-Jorge, together and recently Kerry had said they were trying for another baby.
“Yes, we are [trying]. We haven’t been careful, put it that way!… I’ll be more than happy to find I’m pregnant.
“George is desperate for another child. I’ll have one more and that’s your lot!”
But last month George moved out of the house he shared with Kerry, Dylan and Kerry’s other four children, Molly, 15, Lilly-Sue, 14, Max, 9, and Heidi, 10, in Sussex.
We hope Kerry stays as strong as she is.
