Kerry Katona has called on fans to remember her mum in their prayers after claims Sue Katona has suffered a heart attack.
The ex Atomic Kitten singer, 41, updated Instagram followers on her mum’s health earlier today (Saturday April 23).
An emotional Kerry also revealed she is unable to visit Sue in hospital due to her acting job.

Star Kerry admitted she was “shook up” by the incident.
But she also reassured fans she believes Sue is in “the best place” at the moment.

Kerry explained: “Just letting you know for those who aren’t aware, my mum suffered a heart attack on Thursday.
“She is in hospital as we speak. But she wanted me to let you know she is doing okay. She’s in the best place for her.”
Panto star Kerry continued: “I’m in the middle of a tour at the moment so I can’t even go and see her right now.”
‘A big scare’
Kerry went on to detail her and her family’s upset at the shocking development, describing it as a “big scare”.
“We’re all a little bit shook up by it,” Kerry added.
“But she’s in hospital, she’s in the right place and all the kids are going to see her today with Ryan [Mahoney, Kerry’s fiancé].”
Kerry, who is performing in Sleeping Beauty, also added she’s desperate to visit, too.
“I’ve got two shows and then another two shows to do tomorrow,” Kerry went on.
“It has been great fun this panto but I can’t wait to get home and see my mum.”

Kerry also indicated Sue may have endured heart problems in the past.

“Everyone say lots of prayers to keep her safe,” Kerry implored fans.
“And I will see you soon mum.”

One person wrote: “Wishing your mum a speedy recovery and love to you Kerry.”
