Katie Price has shared a new photo after reuniting with children Junior and Princess.

The 40-year-old posted a snap to Instagram on Thursday showing her posing with Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, whom she shares with ex-husband Peter Andre.

Her caption read: “Time is precious. Mini me [Princess] and J today.”

There have been widespread reports that Junior and Princess have been living with their dad Peter, 45, while Katie goes through a rocky patch in life.

A representative for Katie told The Mirror in June: “What is important [is] that the focus is on what is best for the children during tough times as Peter has acknowledged.

“Katie is a remarkable mother, Peter is a wonderful father, together they are doing what is best for their children.”

It’s believed the decision was made mutually by Katie and Peter.

Peter recently spoke about how he protects the children from headlines about their mother.

The singer, who has daughter Amelia, four, and son Theo, nearly two, with second wife Emily, told ITV’s Lorraine back in September: “Obviously when it comes to kids and newspapers and the internet, I try my best to avoid them. Because there’s lots of stories about lots of different things.

“It’s just trying to get them to concentrate on other things because I think the internet is a bit of a scary place in general. You find good news and you can find bad news all in the same hour.”

He added to OK! Magazine: “Making sure my kids are protected and away from any negativity is my main priority.”

Katie’s had a difficult few months that have seen her marriage to third husband Kieran Hayler crumble, her mum Amy be diagnosed with a terminal lung condition, and her finances dragged through the media as she faces the possibility of bankruptcy.

A finances hearing earlier this week was postponed until December, giving Katie more time to broker a deal with creditors to avoid bankruptcy.

She’s also voluntarily checked into rehab to treat post-traumatic stress disorder.

However, the former glamour model – who is also mum to Harvey, 16, Jett, five, and four-year-old Bunny – made a pledge to fans this week that she’s ready to fight back.

In a candid message to fans, she said: “I have my own story. I am not perfect. I am healing. I am learning everyday. I am a real person. I have feelings. I am doing the best I can do. I am being the best person and mother I can be. I have taken the time I needed to understand myself. This is now my time. I am back.”

Katie shared the message alongside a quote that read: “One of the risks of being quiet is that the other people can fill your silence with their own interpretation: You’re bored. You’re depressed. You’re shy. You’re stuck up. You’re judgemental. When others can’t read us, they write their own story – not always the one we choose or that is true to who we are.”

Her fans will no doubt get the full story behind the headlines in the upcoming special episode of Katie’s reality show, My Crazy Life, which airs Monday, November 12 at 10pm on Quest Red.

She said this week: “Things have really hit rock bottom since the last series of My Crazy Life a few months ago. But the only way is up.

“It’s time to get my life back on track and be the best mum in the world for my kids. I’m excited to get back to doing what I love and to tell my side of the story.”
