Katie Price accused of ‘overpricing her kids’ clothing range’

The Pricey's not right!

| Updated:

She shared her excitement about her new children’s clothing range, but Katie Price has now been accused of overcharging for the garments.

The mum-of-five has released clothing lines named after each of her children but apparently the prices have been majorly marked-up.

It comes as the 40-year-old gets back on her feet following a near-miss with bankruptcy.

According to the Mirror Online, Katie’s clothing company is selling pieces for nearly three times what she paid for them.

The publication claims that the pink, tweed dress that her daughters Princess and Bunny model is only worth around £11, but it is being flogged for £30 on her website.

A girl’s yellow two-piece is also reported to have a cost price of £10, however, it’s priced at £25 on the site.

A source told the publication: “Katie’s prices are really high considering the cost price from the supplier. She must be making a lot of money.”

Ent Daily has contacted a representative for Katie for comment.

Katie has been excitedly sharing updates about her new business venture involving her children; Harvey, 16, Junior, 13, Princess, 11, Jett, five, and four-year-old Bunny.

Her brood have been modelling the clothing online and she launched the business officially with a big party and fashion show last week.

Katie’s new project comes as she fights back after money woes.

Last year, she avoided bankruptcy over a reported £22,000 unpaid tax bill.

She was granted a payment plan to pay back her debts.

The former glamour model, once said to be worth £45 million, said she was confident she would get back on her feet.

Last December, on her show My Crazy Life, Katie said of overcoming her financial woes: “I have been battered. It’s like everyone is obsessed with it, because they see me as this big businesswoman, made (BEEP)-loads of money and as soon as the word bankrupt hits everyone’s like, ‘Oh my God.’

“I’ve been battered hard, it’s been difficult mentally to cope with the battering I’ve had but guess what, I’ve had the news today and I’m not going bankrupt!”
