Katie Price reveals she’s on medication to cope with cheating drama

It's been a tough few months for the Loose Women panellist

A miscarriage, a spouse’s infidelity and a very ill parent – any one of these is enough to cause substantial mental trauma, and unlucky Katie Price is experiencing all three right now.

That’s why we’re saddened, but not surprised to hear today that Katie has been taking anxiety medication to help her get through everything going on in her life.

Speaking of her medication, she told The Sun: “I am on it, it’s for anxiety. I’m not scared to admit it. If you’ve got a headache you go to the doctor and you get a tablet.

“I get anxiety now so I take it.”

The tragic events have come one after another. First, at the end of August, Katie told Loose Women that she had caught serial-cheat husband Kieran Hayler having another affair, with her children’s nanny.

She revealed shortly after she had been through a miscarriage, just four days before making the infidelity discovery.

Then, Katie revealed to The Sun that her mother, 64-year-old Amy Price, has been diagnosed with terminal lung illness: “She’s been told she hasn’t got very long to live.”

Is there no end to Katie’s ordeal?

It looks like, as well as the anxiety pills, she is trying out another tried and tested medicine  – time with loved ones – to help her get through the events of the last month.

Just yesterday, she posted a photo of her and son Harvey, captioned: “Love him xxx”.

She also may be looking into taking a holiday soon to get her mind off things, as she posted a snap of her in a white dress and wedges, looking out from a balcony into a sunny landscape, on her Instagram last night. She captioned it: “Wishing I was back in the sun.”

We just hope, as Katie revealed just yesterday she might be ready to forgive Kieran for his cheating, that she’s getting the support and love she needs during this hard time.
