Katie Price releases clip of new single and fans are very surprised

Ok, fine, we’re comparing it to the Eurovision one but still

Katie Price has released a single and we have something really shocking to tell you about it: it’s actually alright.

We mean, Adele isn’t lying on her sofa going with her head in her hands or anything. But, you know, Katie sounds in-tune.

The single was revealed as an audio clip on Katie’s Instagram and she’ll be performing it live at GAY this weekend as part of her new show My Crazy Life on Quest.

She posted: “Little preview of my new dance single for the summer, performing tomorrow night and being filmed for my new show woooo.”

Fans were loving it, with @oobettie commenting ‘This sounds so great, you show the haters Katie’ and @jrdnchrstphr writing ‘Omg sounds so good!!! @officialkatieprice 💃🏻 Been waiting for this since Free to love again!!!!’

Some were more sceptical, asking “Did Katie price sing this ????”

The single Free To Love Again – as well as the album A Whole New World which Katie released with ex husband Peter Andre in 2006 – is one of Katie’s many attempts to be a pop star.

She also competed to represent the UK at Eurovision in 2005 dressed in that pink catsuit but didn’t quite make the cut.

Then when she married her husband Kieran, she recorded him a version of Vanessa Williams’ Save The Best For Last.

“I have to say I was really pleased with the results when I heard the recording,” she wrote in her book Love, Lipstick and Lies. “And it made me think that I wanted to concentrate on my singing again.”

A source told The Sun that Katie’s absolutely focused on making her next career move being a success in the charts.

“Katie has dreamed of being a pop star her whole life, she didn’t set out to be a Page 3 model,” the source said.

“People may laugh at the idea of her becoming a singer but she has the determination to make it big.”

We’re not laughing. In fact don’t judge but we’re kind of dancing.
