Katie Price has divided fans after comparing her broken feet to I’m A Celeb star David Ginola’s heart attack.
The former footballer opened up about the incident last night, which happened at a charity football match five years ago.
David “died” for nine minutes during the ordeal.

Katie Price comments on I’m A Celeb
Speaking to his fellow campmates, David opened up on the near-fatal time.
He said: “Just playing football and at one stage you just fall on the floor.
“So they had to perform CPR for 12 minutes and they arrived with the defibrillator and they shocked me one time, two times, three times… they said, ‘I think your friend is dead.’
“A fourth, fifth time… the fifth time, a heartbeat. The surgeon said, ‘You’ve been very lucky David, it’s a miracle. In your condition 9 out of 10 would have died’.”
Following the show (November 22), Katie praised David for bravely discussing the ordeal.
Taking to Instagram, she shared: “I can’t believe about David Ginola’s heart. I mean, wow, he’s so lucky to be alive!
“Just imagine that happening, you just can’t, and the way he says it like, it’s unbelievable that he’s still here and it’s brilliant that he’s lived to tell the tale and he’s lived on.
“So like with David, obviously it’s a different kind of accident, like I’m lucky to be alive with my feet – falling off that wall.”
Katie previously broke both of her feet while on holiday in Turkey.
How did Katie fans react?
However, some fans believed that Katie’s incident didn’t quite compare to David’s.
Taking to the comments, one said: “Are you right in the head the guy was clinically dead! You broke your [bleeping] ankles.”
A second added: “You could have died when you injured your feet??? Stop comparing that to someone who has heart issues.”
A third wrote: “Why compare David with yourself. No comparison at all. Also saying ‘I know who love themselves’ hmmm.”
A fourth complained: “David Ginola nearly died because of a heart complaint. You nearly died because you drunk drove #Perspective.”
No comparison at all!
However, one shared: “Well done Katie for giving support. You were incredible in the jungle!”
It comes after fans slammed Katie for her brutal attack on this year’s I’m A Celebrity line-up.
ED! has approached Katie’s representative for comment.
