Katie Price admits “there’s more to come out” as she discusses her marriage breakdown on Loose Women

The star joined her fellow panellists for a frank and honest discussion

Katie Price has made her first TV appearance since it was revealed she’s divorcing third husband Kieran Hayler.

She joined her friends Andrea McLean, Coleen Nolan and Nadia Sawalha on the Loose Women panel on Tuesday and set the rumours about what’s really going on in her marriage to rest.

“It is what it is,” she revealed.  “It’s what you’ve read. Years ago I caught Kieran cheating with two of my best friends, I paid for therapy to get him help, as far as I knew our life was perfect.

“I caught him again. There’s other things that’s also going to come out. Here I am again. What do you do?”

As Andrea asked how she was coping with it all, Katie admitted she was behaving in a very different manner to the last time she caught Kieran cheating with her friend Jane Pountney.

“When someone stabs a knife in the first time and they twist it, I was literally distraught, but this time, I don’t know, was I expecting it to happen again? I’m acting completely differently this time.

“It’s not normal behaviour what he’s doing. Especially when you’re in a happy marriage.”

Nadia pointed out that it seemed like Katie was in shock.

“Well, it’s people close to me,” Katie replied. “You employ someone to look after your children and this is what they do behind your back.

“I’m shocked. Kieran is absolutely devastated and I’m like ‘well you’ve done this to me’. He does have an addiction, he does.

“I love him, I go home and it’s confusing, he’s hurt me once and I don’t deserve to get hurt. But I feel sorry for him.”

She then went on to say that despite reports this morning that she had kicked him out, she hasn’t as he needs to get help and she doesn’t see what she’s going to “gain” by chucking him out.

“We are going to deal with it privately, I know I talk about it, but they’ve got to remember I’m a human being and I haven’t deserved any of this at all.

“I’m just shocked it’s happened again and I’m so shocked it’s someone I let in my house, who’s cuddling my kids.”

Speaking about Kieran and his sex addiction, Katie hinted that his childhood played a huge part in why he is the way he is.

“I know he’s upset and sorry, but he still did it. He still hurt me again. I tried my hardest the first time. How many times do you forgive someone?

“It’s horrific what happened to him as a kid, but I don’t deserve to be hurt.”

The model also went on to question why the women around her keep betraying her: “What is it with these women around me – he might have a problem, but they haven’t.”

Though being very mature about the whole situation, Katie said she would try not to let this affect her trust in both men and women.

“I can’t tarnish everyone with the same brush otherwise I’ll walk around and not speak to anyone.”

She also confessed she’s having to be “sensible” because there are children involved in this situation. Her kids from her marriage to Peter Andre, Junior, 12, and Princess, 10, and her eldest son with Dwight Yorke, Harvey, 15, are all old enough to understand what’s going on.

Her children with Kieran, four-year-old Jett, and three-year-old Bunny are probably too young to grasp the situation, but Katie still wants to be a grown up about it all:

“I’ve got two young children with him, they adore him, Junior and Princess absolutely adore him, it’s not just me. I’m being sensible in the case of, he should still be involved and help the kids.

“But yet again I’m going to have to go through all this heartbreak again. I just don’t deserve it.”

Nadia admitted she actually feels SORRY for Kieran. To which Katie replied:

“He’s just got this side to him he can’t control. I got help for him and then for a couple of years he hasn’t seen anyone, I’m not making excuses, but when you’ve got an addiction you’ve got to keep it up.”
