Katie Price has admitted she’s going through a difficult patch in her life, saying she’s “hit rock bottom” in recent months.
The 40-year-old spoke out in a statement to confirm the return of her Quest Red reality show, My Crazy Life, which will air a special episode on November 12.
She said: “Things have really hit rock bottom since the last series of My Crazy Life a few months ago. But the only way is up.
“It’s time to get my life back on track and be the best mum in the world for my kids. I’m excited to get back to doing what I love and to tell my side of the story.”
Claire Laycock, Head of Brands at Discovery UK, added: “Katie Price: My Crazy Life really captured the hearts of audiences and I’m delighted to welcome her back to the channel.
“This series we’re all rooting for Katie as she confronts some home truths and takes control – expect more challenges and heart-warming moments from one of the UK’s most talked-about mums.”
The special episode of My Crazy Life will air on Monday, November 12 at 10pm on Quest Red, with a second episode to air at an unconfirmed date in December.
Since the previous series of My Crazy Life wrapped in August, Katie’s rarely been out of the limelight.
The breakdown of her marriage to third husband Kieran Hayler in May has continued to dominate the headlines, alongside her romances with Kris Boyson and Alex Adderson.
She’s also had her finances dragged through the media, with a bankruptcy hearing recently postponed until December, stories about the state of her mansion, and voluntarily checked into a rehab centre to get help for post-traumatic stress disorder, before leaving and briefly entering a residential clinic, instead.
Her beloved mum Amy was diagnosed with a terminal lung condition earlier this year, also.
Katie was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and released under investigation in October, after her car was found stopped on a street in South East London with signs of damage.
The former glamour model returned to social media on Halloween night after a lengthy break to share photos from her celebrations.
She hadn’t posted on Instagram since September 6.
Katie told fans it was good to be back as she shared images of youngest children Jett, five, and Bunny, four, in their Halloween costumes, alongside herself and mum Amy.
She shares Jett and Bunny with ex Kieran.
Katie is also mum to son Junior, 13, and daughter Princess, 11, from her first marriage to Peter Andre, who had them for Halloween.
She has a 16-year-old son, Harvey, from a previous relationship with Dwight Yorke.
