When we read that David Beckham had let his nicey-nice mask slip to lash out at Katherine Jenkins a while back we were shocked.

Though probably not as shocked as the singer herself.
You remember last month, David’s outrageous jibe was exposed in a set of leaked emails.
In an email exchange with his PR, he raged: “Katherine Jenkins OBE for what?
“Singing at the rugby and going to see the troops plus taking coke.”
Now, finally, the gorgeous songstress has spoken out about the footie legend’s comments – and she’s not happy.
“I’m a human being. Of course something like that would be hurtful,” she told Fabulous magazine.
“But at the same time I’ve learned that when you’re famous sometimes you get dragged into things you shouldn’t be involved in.
“Sometimes people feel like they know you, but actually they know nothing about you.”
Although poor David couldn’t get his little grey cells around why Katherine was awarded her OBE, she actually was honoured in 2014 for services to music and charity.
When asked if she forgave Becks, Katherine teased: “You know exactly what I’m thinking!”
And good on her. Jealousy is such an ugly thing.

Meanwhile, Becks, who is desperate to get a royal gong, branded the Honours Committee “unappreciative” and went on to be even less polite than that, because they hadn’t honoured him.
