Kate Wright shares sweet snap of her and Rio Ferdinand’s daughter wearing matching outfits

Family are enjoying a holiday in Dubai

Kate Wright is proving to be a style inspiration to Rio Ferdinand’s daughter Tia as the pair stepped out in matching outfits while on holiday in Dubai.

The 26-year-old former TOWIE star wore a black and white striped skirt from Zara while the little girl wore a similar monochrome stripey dress.

Kate shared a sweet image of them together with her 796k Instagram followers writing: “Special times with the princess.”

The snap quickly gained more than 58,000 likes as Kate’s fans commented on how adorable it was.

“Aww so sweet,” one wrote. “Beautiful picture,” said another.

Others thought the picture was something of an optical illusion thanks to the stripey clothing.

As Kate hugs little Tia against her legs, their matching outfits blend together and it could appear that the former reality TV star has three legs!

One wrote of the optical illusion: “I could not work this picture out for a good couple of seconds.” Another agreed saying: “Wow, this picture just messed with my mind?!”

Fitness fan Kate got together with the former footballer last year. He was sadly widowed in 2015 when his wife Rebecca died of cancer at the age of 34.

After her relationship with the England defender was revealed, Kate said she was quitting reality TV so she could be a step mum to his three children.

She said at the time: “I’m taking a step back from the public eye, I want to keep my life private as I lived my previous relationship on TOWIE, my priority right now is Rio and the family.”

On Mother’s Day, she posted a touching message about how the children are coping without their mum, and how it isn’t always easy being a step-mum.

She wrote: “I am lucky to have my mum here with me today I can’t help but feel so overwhelmed and full of emotions that both Rio and the children don’t have their mums with them today. We are living in a house full of grief trying to get through and days like today just feel so tough.”

She added: “Happy Mother’s Day to all the step mums out there it’s a hard role that I don’t think anyone often gets the credit they deserve for it. If you aren’t being celebrated make sure u know u r doing an amazing job.”
