Kate Wright shares Halloween photo of Rio Ferdinand’s kids

Halloween snap shows she's part of the family now

Kate Wright and Rio Ferdinand’s relationship seems to be getting stronger and stronger.

Just a few days ago, the former TOWIE star posted an Instagram picture of the couple riding on a rollercoaster – the first photo of them together that she’s ever uploaded to social media.

And now, she’s shared an adorable snap of Rio’s kids, proving that she’s really part of the family now.

Well, we say it’s an adorable snap – actually, it’s downright terrifying (well, it was Halloween after all).

The Instagram picture shows Tate, nine, Tia, six, and Lorenz, 11 – Rio’s kids with his late wife Rebecca Ellison – dressed as characters from famous horror movies, complete with fake-blood-spattered weapons.

Kate, 26, has captioned the picture with the words: “Happy Halloween.”

And no doubt it was a happy one for the reality star and retired England footballer Rio, 38.

Since they started dating in January, we’ve been seeing more and more evidence of their blossoming relationship.

Back in September, Kate posted pics of herself at a gym, which some fans recognised as the one Rio has in his home.

And over the past couple of weeks, they’ve been holidaying together in Dubai, which is where they enjoyed that rollercoaster ride.

Rio’s wife Rebecca died in 2015 after losing her battle with breast cancer. Since then, the former Man United star has spoken openly about his grief.

Earlier this year, he appeared in a BBC documentary, Rio Ferdinand: Being Mum And Dad, which showed how he was coping with bringing up the couple’s three children on his own.

However, meeting Kate appeared to put a smile back on his face, and last month he confirmed his contentment during an appearance on This Morning.

He told Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby: “I’m really happy now, [and] the kids are really happy – it’s the happiest they’ve been. I’m in a relationship and it’s going well.

“My kids deserve to be happy – they’ve had tragedy for the last few years of their lives.”

And it sounds like Kate is committed to being a mother figure to the Ferdinand brood.

Back in September, she told The Sun: “I’m taking a step back from the public eye.

“I want to keep my life private, as I lived my previous relationship on TOWIE. My priority right now is Rio and the family.”
