Kate Wright hits back at troll attack at their lavish holiday

Idiots are trying to ruin the family's trip

They seem to be having the most idyllic holiday ever – on their private island in the Maldives – but there’s always someone out there who wants to ruin things.

Kate Wright has hit back at trolls who attacked her lavish trip with fiancé Rio Ferdinand and his kids, blasting: “3 children have lost their mum.”

The former reality star – who started dating the former footballer in early 2017, two years after he lost his wife to cancer – was reportedly upset to see nasty comments on Rio’s page, complaining about the no-expense spared holiday.

In now-deleted comments screen-grabbed by the Daily Mail, Kate wrote: “Money doesn’t make looking after 3 children that have lost their mum easier. Yes we can have nice holidays but money can’t bring back loved ones and heal grief.”

The 27-year-old, who is now step-mum to Lorenzo, 12, Tate, 10, and seven-year-old daughter Tia, added: “Looking after children and caring for them comes from the heart not the bank.”

The couple’s fans rushed to defend them, too, with one writing: “Why so many negative comments? Great family experience and they will never forget. Memories being made with his family x.”

Another added: “What you do for them kids is unbelievable. You’re a fantastic person. 👍🏼.” A third commented: “Don’t justify yourselves to jealous people, you all deserve all the happiness in the world and you made your luck, made your money, so enjoy while you can, only here once xx.”

A fourth encouraged the family: “Beautiful photo of you all, and well said Katie, everyone deserves love, glad you’ve all found it and you keep memories alive xxxxxx❤️.”

Many more followers also told them to enjoy their festive break, with one writing: “👍👍👍 Amazing Rio, enjoy family vacation.”

A third wrote: “So nice to see your family happy. @xkatiewright is a keeper and a beautiful person inside and out x.”

Rio Ferdinand, 40, and his family have been having a wonderful trip, sharing many beach shots and a few from a stunning under-water restaurant called 5.8 in Hurawalhi Maldives.

Rio proposed to Kate on the roof of a skyscraper in front of his kids.

Posting the moment on Instagram, he wrote: “She said yes. How these three kids kept it a secret I’ll never know.”

Rio then posted a screenshot of the comment and replied: “My boy is trying to make his dad all emotional.”
