Kate Beckinsale is gorgeous and enviously young looking for her age.

She might be 43, but this action star could quite easily pass for a 30-year-old.

After splitting from her gorgeous husband Len Wiseman a couple of years ago, she is now dating again.

And guess who’s she’s a dating – a guy who is 21.

Yes, the sassy actress is seeing someone HALF HER AGE! Good on her!

The lucky fella in question is actor and comic Matt Rife who is just a young slip of a lad of 21.

US TV show Entertainment Tonight has revealed that the pair have been dating for months and are “officially boyfriend and girlfriend”.

This relationship is mirroring the storyline of her latest film The Only Living Boy in New York which sees her playing an older woman seducing a younger man, played by Callum Turner, 27.

Maybe Matt was helping her research the role!

A source told Entertainment Tonight: “They quickly started flirting, went on their first date and it’s continued since.

“Everyone in Kate’s circle loves Matt and are so supportive of this relationship.”

Matt, who is just three years younger than Kate’s daughter Lily with ex Michael Sheen, is best known for his appearances on MTV sketch comedy show Wild ‘N Out.

“He really is the sweetest guy and makes her so happy,” a source has said.

“Her entire family thinks he is the nicest and most lovely person.

“He is very mature for his age and is a great guy.”

He might be all those things, but he also has a body that looks like this:

And it would seem that Matt has been enjoying the attention the age gap in their relationship has attracted.

The other day, he posted an image of a Senior Citizens Centre sign accompanied by the comment “Age is just a number” and a heart emoji online before deleting it. (That’s what the kids do, apparently!)

Well, it’s true. Age is just a number.

So good luck to you Kate, let’s hope you enjoy Matt while it lasts.
